We welcome you to the exciting experience of the Inca Jungle Imperial Trek. If you like adventure and are looking for something out of the ordinary, this is the ideal option for you! Short itinerary

Day 01 : Cusco – Abra Malaga – Santa Maria – Santa teresa

05:00 hours, the team will pick up the tourists at their hotel for the bus transfer from Cusco to Abra Malaga.

17:00 hours will begin the cycling adventure to Santa Maria,

16:30 hours transfer by bus to Santa Teresa.

18:00 hours dinner and then the tourists will spend the night in Santa Teresa.

Day 02: Santa Teresa – Hidroelectrica – Aguas Calientes

5:30 am will be breakfast

8:00 am will begin the hike from Hidroelectrica to Aguas Calientes, which will take about 6 hours.

19:00 pm Overnight in Aguas Calientes.

Day 03: Aguas Calientes – Machupicchu – Cusco

4:00 am breakfast will be served and we will begin a walk of about an hour and a half to Machu Picchu.

7:00 am in the morning you will start a guided tour of about two hours.

6:35 pm you will take the train back from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo.

8:30pm there will be a bus transfer from Ollantaytambo to Cusco.

Complete Itinerary

Day 01: Cusco – Abra Malaga – Santa Maria – Santa Teresa

In the morning, a private vehicle will pick you up early in the morning at your hotel to begin a trip to the Sacred Valley, passing through the typical villages of Chincheros and Ollantaytambo. Then, you will arrive at Abra Malaga, located at an altitude of 4,230 meters above sea level, to begin a descent by bicycle of approximately 4 hours. During the ride, you will see several archaeological sites such as Inkatambo and Huamanmarca, as well as small villages, fruit fields, rivers and streams. At noon, you will enjoy an outdoor lunch and then continue the tour until you reach Santa Maria, at an altitude of 1,430 masl (4,691,601 ft), where the cycling tour ends. From there, you will take a bus to Santa Teresa, where you will enjoy dinner and spend the night in a lodge.

Day 02: Santa Teresa – Hidroelectrica – Aguas Calientes

The day begins with an exquisite breakfast that will prepare us for a hike of approximately 15 km and 6 hours to Aguas Calientes. During the hike we will pass through the Aobamba Valley until we reach the Intihuatana, where we can appreciate the impressive mountains of Machu Picchu and Huayna Picchu, as well as an exuberant jungle with a great biodiversity. Afterwards we will arrive at Hidroeléctrica to enjoy a refreshing lunch and then continue hiking along the railway line until we reach Machu Picchu Village, known as “Aguas Calientes”. The excursion ends with a delicious dinner, followed by a well-deserved rest in a cozy lodge.

Day 03: Aguas Calientes – Machupicchu – Cusco

This day will be exclusively devoted to visiting the impressive Machu Picchu, located at an altitude of 2,430 m / 7,972,441 ft. We will enjoy a guided tour that will last about two hours, after which we will have enough time to explore the site on our own or to visit Huayna Picchu (the latter is not included in the tour).

After the visit to Machu Picchu, we will head to Machu Picchu Village. Here, you will find a variety of restaurants to choose from according to your taste. Then, we will board the train for approximately two hours until we arrive at Ollantaytambo station, where a transport with your name on it will be waiting to take you to Cusco City. The trip will take about an hour and a half.

Huayna Picchu: If you want the experience of visiting Huayn Picchu, where you will enjoy its breathtaking scenery, it is necessary to book in advance and pay an additional fee of $25 per person.The climb to the top takes about 45 minutes and represents a challenge.

Machu Picchu Mountain: You can also choose to climb Machu Picchu Mountain, which takes about 90 minutes and is difficult. The additional cost per person is $15. This option offers the most beautiful and spectacular views of all, where you can enjoy breathtaking views.

Buffet Lunch: Our recommendation is the restaurant El MAPI, which has an additional cost of $20.00.
