Trip Description
Cusco hides true jewels in its Andean mountains, such as the various lagoons of blue, turquoise, green, yellow and red tones that are found in its territory. But undoubtedly, the Humantay Lagoon (4,200 m / 13,780 ft) is one of the most impressive. Its emerald water and the presence of the glacier form a striking landscape that is difficult to capture in a photograph. Therefore, it is recommended to visit this lagoon during your stay in Cusco, and if you want to do it in an organized way, you can join a Salkantay Trekking excursion that will allow you to enjoy a day of contact with nature. This place is a must-see destination and an opportunity to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
